Andy Butler Writes to help consumers understand the scale of the Fields Data Recovery scam.
The latest count for just UK home user complaints (not businesses, not US and Not European consumers):
- 829 Trading Standards Complaints
- 64 Service Requests
- 20 Enforcement visits to their offices
Understand that as bad as that looks its the tip of a substantial scam.
Most are unaware they have been scammed, Fields Associates / Fields Group have a full time complaints department and dedicated complaints portal designed to avert complaints being logged with trading standards.
Most cannot afford the risk of losing more money or properly understand how they were misled, deceived, defrauded and then at risk of more cost trying to fight a pseudo law firm which was started as Action Direct UK Ltd / Quickie Divorce Ltd and was sanctioned by the Ministry of Justice and prevented from operating as an employment tribunal service. So they now operate as Endaevour Law Ltd of Bridgend.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis and his son Dr Jamie Hamilton Wallis (Westminster Conservative MP for Bridgend Wales) have tried to put my company out of business because I naively contacted them in 2008 and offered my labs services on a subcontract basis to help with the drives I thought they were declaring unrecoverable in error.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis made it clear he would have me put out of my home and out of business.
Much worse was that other resellers / partner websites were also charging these inflated fees not knowing it was a con.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis paid his operations manager to lie to the court in an affidavit that enabled Fields to include me in the ex parte HCI (High Court Injunction served on numerous people) in order to get the data-recovery-blog.co.uk and its forum taken down. 1 minute after answering the door of my home I was over 25 ft away at the bottom of a very steep driveway concussed and later heard from a taped police interview by the one “witness” that the fall he saw me take no man could survive and the noises he heard when my neck and back snapped I should not have gotten back up alive.
Fortunately I did survive but the witness eluded interview by police for a month and the A&E were not told of the severity of the impact by the witness – an ex police officer / private investigator / Gypsy Campsite Eviction Bailiff officer to the courts.
I was left struggling with a prolapsed disk in my neck, fractured vetibrae, partial stroke and subsequently unable to work or run my company which sufferred as a result.
Fields dropped the HCI and paid out to Rowland £70,000 this was despite their assertion and that of their Barrister that they had a strong case. But it was fabricated and was based on lies, perjury and large amounts of cash to cover up something much more sinister. Fields had also threatened taking me to court for £250,000 and subsequently in the hearing were mulcted by the Judge and I was awarded damages which Fields promptly paid out.
But they have since been posting more fake positive reviews about themselves and fake negative reviews about my company.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis and Dr Jamie Hamilton Wallis (Westminster Conservative MP for Bridgend Wales) have more to hide than this scam. They are classed as expert witnesses to the courts, litigation consultants and ewarfare / ethical hackers.
Do not give your credit card details over the phone and be aware that many of the call center staff are ex pats in Thailand.
The money scammed is substantial, the template forensic reports and unrecoverable drive reports are part of the document papermill system setup by UK Digital Solutions.

Staff of Fields Group companies past and present will no doubt wish to protect their interests.
My activity is as retaliation for the PPC fraud, Comparedatarecovery misrepresentation, unfair sector domination and wasting my time and company profits on trying to help Fields victims.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis has made £millions from the Fields Group Websites which are involved in a well documented ISO 9001 attaining legal document spooling pseudo law firm.
With dozens of Trading Standards enforcement visits, service requests and thousands of defrauded consumers the largest of the scams is Fields Associates Ltd which operates several websites that claim a fake ISO27001 accreditation.
DHW has since sold the Fields Group to his son Dr Jamie Hamilton Wallis (Westminster Conservative MP for Bridgend Wales) aka "James Walsh".
DHW has claimed to be a leader in computer forensics but insiders claim that forensic reports he has submitted are actually by Adrian Hill and other Fields Data Recovery staff.
Fake R&D / Technical reports declaring data from failed storage devices are often signed off by Alyn Jones who is the head of research yet cannot explain why basic recoveries he says cannot be done are completed by competitors.
This Fields Data Recovery scam #fieldsdatarecoveryscam has not just been and industry problem.
The basic system of bait and switch and template emails / reports are designed to maximise profits which can be used by their web marketing division UKDS (UK Digital Solutions) and Fields Analytics Co Thailand to dominate Google Adwords putting competitors out of business by using “sector domination by unrelenting growth” to indoctrinate Fields staff into a “Wall Street boiler room “ type of sales operation.
Daryl Hamilton Wallis still makes money acting as a computer forensics expert witness yet if challenged in court would be found to be a professional liar of a scale and dimension some have described as "huge" and other have nick named "Jabba the hut".
Daryl and Jamie are well known for their commercial bullying tactics and use of their “injunction serving” division said to be the largest in the UK.
Indeed this website was affected by an ex Part High Court Injunction brought against the previous administrator who had helped hundreds of victims of Fields understand how they had be defrauded.
The HCI was discontinued and Fields paid £70,000 damages out of court and estimated legal costs of over £200,000 much of which was paid to a "QC / leading counsel".
However the ex Parte HCI was secured by Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis paying £2500 to the Operations Manager of Fields Associates to lie in an affidavit.
Daryl and Jamie Hamilton Wallis have off the back of their “ill gotten gains” said to be 80% from scams also benefitted from £230,000 of Welsh Assembly Grant Money and dealings in Thailand.
Daryl was also for a time “Professor” at Buckingham University and Jamie secured a doctorate in Astronomy to go with his Chemistry Degree.
However Daryl and Jamies most recent endeavours into Law, News Distribution and Politics point to their connections in the Welsh conservative party and ambitions for themselves and “Friends of Fields” including employees of Fields Group companies to be members of the local Bridgend council and Welsh Assembly.
The close working relationship with Bridgend Council could explain the comment made by Fields Associates head of operations that Trading Standards Inspectors and ACS Registrars were taken out for meals to pass time.
ACS Registrars have as of Jan 2019 stated that Fields Associates Ltd has never had ISO27001 certification despite showing ACS Badges for more than a decade.
Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis and Dr Jamie Hamilton Wallis (Westminster Conservative MP for Bridgend Wales) are well connected in politics in Wales and Thailand and are connected to to Digzoo the "fake news outlet".
In the past Daryl Hamilton Wallis paid £15,000 for the fake compare data recovery website and for the dick heads website in an attempt to damage a competitor.
Daryl and Jamie / Fields were mulcted in court by a Judge who recognised their attempt to deceive and damage my company by way of using the law and threats of £250,000 damages and £25,000 per day that the data recovery blog stayed up.
Fields “In House” Solicitor in shock at losing ran out of the court room leaving her papers behind.
The #fieldsdatarecoveryscam has grown in the US where victims do not realise that the St Louis office in Missouri is front and money is actually directed to Fields Associates in Wales.
Tax evasion in many countries has been alleged by ex staff as well as data theft and “business trips” to Thailand.
Daryl and Jamie also operate the Sugar Daddy and Lush Date websites and are alleged to have a service which arranges “Thai Brides for businessmen who they have never met.
Suffice to say that Fields Group have a highly developed call centre operation with a claimed 200 to 250 staff selling their document spooling services from quickie divorces, will and cv writing, mortgage advice, employment tribunals, conveyancing, PPI claims, web design, business formations and business plans, injunction serving, child custody and clean break agreements and crypto currency "Britcoin".
Daryl was also the founder of a drag hunt and is called on as an expert witness in the defence of those accused of breaking the laws on fox hunting.
